Further information

Hartlepool is a vibrant and energetic town with growing prospects. As an authority we want to make Hartlepool the best it possibly can be and want dedicated, driven and committed staff to help us achieve that.

The Tees Valley Pathways and Routeways Youth Employment Initiative Programmes are managed by Hartlepool Borough Councils Learning & Skills Service and delivered through a consortium of 22 organisations.

The programmes aim to support young people across the Tees Valley aged 15 to 29 who are unemployed or inactive (NEET) to progress into Education, Employment or Further Training. The programmes have a contract value of 28.1m and are part-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and supported under the Youth Employment Initiative (YEI).

Learning & Skills are seeking to appoint a full-time YEI Admin Team Leader to form part of the Youth Employment Initiative Project Team.

The post holders key duties will be to manage the administration and recording systems for the project, provide effective management information to the YEI Project Team and effectively supervise the small administrative team.

The post holder will need to ensure all of the participant forms, progression evidence and participant spreadsheets are accurate and meet the ESF Funding Rules for submission to the Managing Authority as part of the quarterly YEI Claim.

The YEI Admin Team Leader will contribute to ensuring the effective management and delivery of the YEI Programme.
