Cleveland Fire Brigade is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to take a leading role in managing the fleet workshops team, providing maintenance services and repairs and maintaining legislative records for all Brigade transport, in a safe, efficient and economical way aligned with the business objectives of the organisation.

Assisting the Brigade's Fleet and Equipment Manager, the Workshop Foreman will contribute to development, implementation, operation, support and maintenance of the brigade’s fleet and staff at the Technical Hub, working flexibly both during and outside of normal working hours.

Previous experience of managing a team of fleet technicians in a fast moving workshop, keeping downtime to a minimum is essential.

The successful candidate will have a flexible approach, excellent organisation skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills and be a self-starter who is able to work with the minimum of supervision and on their own initiative.
