The postholder will be assigned to the Consumer Protection Service and primarily work within the Trading Standards teams and report to the relevant Service Team Leader.

Responsible for delivery of Regulatory enforcement functions in accordance with service policies and procedures, and within the legislative framework, using the full range of investigatory tactics and enforcement powers, but also able to perform business advice and customer awareness raising.

The postholder will undertake a range of duties and responsibilities commensurate with qualifications and experience across all Environment, Health and Consumer Protection Services.

• HNC / NVQ level 4 or equivalent in a relevant subject
