30 hours per week plus evening meetings
£32,029 - £34,788 (pro-rata per annum)

We are looking for an excellent leader, manager and administrator who can help Members develop and implement their vision for the council. The Town Clerk will play a crucial role in turning words into action and ensuring the delivery of high quality services to the residents of Chilton. Good interpersonal skills are a must to interface with the people of Chilton.

This post requires candidates to have a clear understanding of local government, and an excellent record in administration, policy, project management, financial management, communication and strategic thinking. Practical experience of cemetery management and allotments is highly desirable. Excellent IT skills are essential and attendance at evening meetings will be required.

You will hold the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) or be willing to achieve this qualification within 15 months of commencing employment.
