Sunderland City Council seek to recruit 3 Technical Support Assistants (1 permanent post and 2 fixed terms posts for 1 year) to work within the Neighbourhoods Directorate.
These posts will be of interest to applicants who are skilled and experienced in the provision of support in contract administration, co-ordinating and actioning of servicing and maintenance contracts, and updating appropriate IT systems.

The successful candidate will display excellent customer care, be able to liaise directly with a wide range of staff at varying levels from varying parts of the business including technical staff, contractors and customers. They will understand the importance of compliance in relation to regulations, legislation, guidance and Health and Safety and will work both individually and as part of a team to ensure compliance is met within the service area.

Individuals will have a wide range of transferable experience within an appropriate background as well as excellent ICT skills, good written and verbal communications skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced area of work. Excellent organisational, prioritisational and negotiation skills will be required to balance a varied and wide-ranging workload with competing priorities.
