Exciting new opportunities have arisen within the Review Team and we are looking to recruit a Team Manager on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising an experienced team of both Social Workers and Social Care Workers.

This is an excellent opportunity to assist in the development of Adult Social Care Services in Middlesbrough, as the post holder will be actively involved in a review of our current structure.

We are looking for a person with a flexible, ‘can do’ approach who is able to demonstrate initiative when required and maintain effective communication links with health and social care professionals, key partners, people accessing services and their carers.

CQSW / CSS / DipSW (or equivalent qualification).
At least 4yrs practitioner experience.
Supervisory experience.
Firm knowledge base with regard to relevant legislation and practice issues.
Awareness of cultural issues in relation to minority ethnic communities.
Understanding of disability issues.
Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other agencies and professionals.
