Required from November 2019; The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and talented teaching assistant to work across the school. This year heralds a challenging but very exciting time in the development of our school.
This is a combined role and will also involve working in our after school provision where the successful candidate will have the enthusiasm and motivation to lead on and plan various activities. Part-time lunchtime supervisory duties will also be required.

We invite applications from teaching assistants who can demonstrate that they have:
Supervised and provided support for pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities, preferably in a first school setting
Established constructive, positive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs.
Provided feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement under the guidance of the teacher
An outstanding record of working well within a team demonstrating a positive attitude and enthusiasm as well as resilience
Support the school’s ethos and reputation within the community

Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and supporting students with Special Educational Needs is essential as part of the role will entail supporting pupils with EHCP’s.

This post is a variable hours contract initially for 37 hours per week term time only.
