Fixed Term for 1 year depending on funding / Full Time – 37 hours per week / Term Time only + 2 weeks

The Governors and Head Teacher of this small, but thriving, rural Church of England School are seeking to appoint an appropriately skilled individual to take on the role of Teaching Assistant.

The role will be based primarily in EYFS/Key Stage 1 but the candidate must be willing to support throughout school as is required.

The postholder will also be required to provide assistance in Breakfast Club for 2 or 3 mornings per week (8am start).

The person appointed must:

• demonstrate excellent communication skills
• have a caring empathetic nature
• have a willingness to work as part of a team
• be able to establish effective relationships with pupils and their families
• have high expectations and a strong commitment to raising standards for all children
• have appropriate Read Write Inc Phonics Training
