Sunderland Care and Support is a provider of high-quality care. We are seeking to recruit Support Workers to work 32 or 16 hours per week in our supported living services which are designed to encourage customers to engage in their local community, develop skills, and maintain a tenancy within the City of Sunderland.
We operate a diverse range of supported living services providing care and support to customers with a learning disability, autism, behaviours that challenge, complex health needs, and mental health needs, with the aim of enhancing the quality of their life through the delivery of personalised care.
Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided. However, applicants must be able to demonstrate the core values of the company including respect, compassion and integrity.
Reporting to a Team Leader, you will engage with customers in line with their individual positive behavioural support plan and you should be motivated to ensure positive outcomes for the individual.
