Northumberland College are seeking to appoint a number of exciting new posts for our residential provision based at Kirkley Hall, a rural campus located near Ponteland. Land Based curriculum including Agriculture, Animal Management, Equine and Horticulture is based on this site.

Reporting to the newly created Student Accommodation Team Leader, the Student Accommodation Engagement Officer will play a key role in engaging with residential students through the development, promotion and delivery of focused activities that develop character, skills, attitudes and confidence amongst residential students.

We are seeking candidates with experience of coordinating activities in a youth work or residential setting and are able to plan and develop a range of opportunities that are stimulating, fun, challenging, progressive and relevant for students. You will have experience of working with young people 14-19 years of age from a variety of backgrounds and have an understanding of the needs and issues surrounding them and the challenges they may face. You will also have a working knowledge and the ability to deliver topics around Personal Social Development.

Due to the nature of this post you will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check.
