We are looking for a Staff Engagement Adviser to lead on actively promoting the Council as a model employer

This is an exciting opportunity to support the HR/OD strategy to improve employee engagement and diversity across the Council. The post holder will be involved in supporting the development of staff networks and developing meaningful engagement tools for all staff groups across the council to increase employee engagement.

You will require a drive and passion to improve staff engagement and inclusion across the council. You will need to be an agent of change and be innovative to find solutions to encourage and improve staff experience The post holder will have a responsibility to implement and support delivery of engagement action plans across all services within the council, working closely with senior leadership teams. This includes the tracking and reviewing of staff survey results , encouraging participation in staff survey and to coordinate the distribution of results and following actions.

You will have a degree in Human Resources/Organisational Development related subject or knowledge acquired though relevant training and experience working in an HR environment to an equivalent level and knowledge of Engagement and Inclusion within a workplace environment.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate, negotiate and influence a range of staff and management at all levels within the council.
