Salary: Grade E point 7-8 £19,554-19,945 (£13,751- £14,026 pro rata)
Hours: 30 hours per week, term time plus 1 week (PD Days)
Contractual Status: One year temporary contract
Required to start : June 2020
This is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2021

The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Specialist Teaching Assistant. Sunnyside School is a large mainstream primary school with three support bases for children with a Deaf/Hearing Impairment, children with a Visual Impairment and children with moderate learning difficulties.

The school is committed to the philosophy of creating a genuine inclusive learning community. The successful applicant will work alongside a dedicated team within the KS2 Higher Needs Base. A knowledge and experience of working with pupils with SEND is essential.
