ASYE Social Worker (2 Positions)
Salary - £28785 plus £1239 per annum essential car user allowance and 2% recruitment and retention allowance after success completion of your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).

We are currently recruiting experienced Social Workers/ASYE Social Workers to join our Assessment/ICRT Social Work Teams; based together in modern accommodation at the Sandhill Centre, Sunderland. The Company is right in the middle of realising its improvement agenda and we are seeking committed and talented professionals with a number of post qualified years’ experience to join existing colleagues in our unique Company.
You will work directly with and also support children, young people and their families in completing child focused assessments. With proven experience in delivering statutory children’s social care services you will have knowledge of social care children’s legislation and be confident in delivering the best outcomes and decisions on behalf of service users. You must be an excellent team player and be able to form positive relationships with colleagues and partners.

Our Social Work offer is one of the most competitive across the region including a maximum earning potential of £40,052 pa for a post qualified worker who has satisfied progression plus for external applicants an additional £1000 TfC retention payment payable on commencement (or after successful completion of the probationary period, if this applies), and guaranteed no hot desking.
