An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Learning Disabilities Team for a qualified and highly motivated social worker who is enthusiastic and committed to working in a person centred /strength based way with customers. Working knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and experience of working with Community DOLS would be an advantage. We also offer an attractive incremental progression.

The duties of the post include :

Undertaking Assessments and Reviews under the Care Act

Multi-agency work and close and close partnership work with Customers, Carers and other Professionals

Successful candidates will have:

Excellent communication and social care assessment skills, plus solid understanding of the relevant statutory frameworks, and best practice.

Ability to work as an individual and within a busy multi-disciplinary team.

Ability to be flexible and self-motivated.

The desire and motivation to work closely with health partners and other professionals.

Be HCPC registered.

A commitment to a flexible approach to their work to meet demands.
