Contract Information: Permanent. 37 hours per week
The post holder works as part of a team covering a 24 hour service, 7 days a week; therefore some weekend work will be expected.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be involved in the leadership of a Children’s Short Break Centre, which will deliver a range of services for children complex challenging behaviour, physical and learning disabilities and complex health needs.

We are seeking an inspirational leader who will lead and continue to develop the service, which was rated Outstanding in 2019.

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Residential Manager, who holds a Level 5 Diploma Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services. Applicants must be experienced in supporting and supervising other workers in a residential setting and understand the requirements of the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, accompanying Quality Standards and Ofsted’s inspection framework. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success in the field.

The candidate will also join an already successful Resource Team that is committed to developing and supporting its workforce and maintaining high standards within its Children’s Homes.
Ongoing training relevant to the post will be available and support will be provided with regular structured supervision and appraisal.

The successful applicant will be responsible to the Resource Manager and will ensure the efficient and effective running of the home and will be expected to be part of the homes rota that may include working shifts, weekends and undertaking sleepovers.

The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check
