This is an exciting time to join our rapidly growing Trading Standards team in Sunderland. We are working hard on our commitment to deliver a modern consumer protection service that focuses on using resources in an efficient and targeted way. As part of this, we are looking for a keen, experienced DTS or DCATS qualified individual to undertake the role of Senior Trading Standards Officer.

The successful applicant will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and have demonstrable experience across a broad range of Trading Standards work – from both a formal enforcement and advisory perspective.

This post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
