Reporting to our Assistant Director of People Management our new roles of Senior HRD Business Partner will lead and manage a team, support the development of our people strategies and plans working within our corporate People Management function.

You will work in partnership with Council Service leaders and managers, providing strategic and operational HR advice and guidance on all people related issues to deliver solution focused outcomes, supporting our organisational change programme.

Successful candidates will have:
•A degree and CIPD membership, or equivalent
•Significant experience and a successful track record in providing HR advice on complex employment matters
•Be able to build effective and trusted relationships and work collaboratively with others
•Be able to lead and manage a team
