We are seeking a highly motivated School Funding Specialist to work in the Financial Services to Schools Team .
You will be responsible for delivering effective, high quality, traded financial services to schools and to provide support in meeting the Local Authority’s statutory Education responsibilities. You will also be expected to lead ad-hoc projects relating to school financial sustainability, the administration of grant funding and service improvement.
The successful candidate will have strong financial skills, experience of multi-year financial forecasting, assessing financial sustainability, collating, analysing and presenting complex financial information.
Equally important, however, will be the ability to engage and effectively communicate with colleagues and Schools. This is an important role which will require you to provide information and advice to school leaders and governors, school business managers and Council officers.
