Permanent - 37 hours per week term time only + 2 weeks.
Grade H (PTS 25-28), £29,577 - £32,234 - depending on length of service - actual term time only salary £26,593.35 - £29,900.31

Salary amounts quoted are from 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they will be subject to an equated salary adjustment.

The Head Teacher and Governors of Washingwell Primary School are seeking to appoint a School Business Manager to join our school as soon as possible
Due to the promotion of our current School Business Manager, this fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and committed professional to develop their skills and impact positively on the lives of young people within our school.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Senior Leadership Team and play a lead strategic role in driving the school forward with responsibility for Finance, Health & Safety, Premises, Administration, HR and GDPR.

Key responsibilities include:
Contributing to the School Development Plan, considering allocation of resources and leading some sections of its implementation.

Assisting with the marketing of the school, managing the school website and social media feeds.

Ensuring effective management of our before and after school provision.

Leading the safe management, maintenance and development of our school premises.

Managing the school budget and financial administration, shaping our future strategy of income generation.

Clerk to governors, providing administrative support to the governing body.

Negotiating, managing and monitoring contracts, tenders and agreements ensuring ‘best value’ at all times.

Managing, monitoring, evaluating and acting upon sickness absence procedures and EVOLVE systems within school.

The successful candidate will:
