Further information
We can offer you a friendly work environment where you will be a vital and valued part of a small team.
We need someone who will be able to effectively and tactfully communicate with our school community, help solve problems and who has a good eye for detail. It is very important that you are a person with great integrity and respect for confidentiality. Confidence in using computers and keeping financial records would be an advantage. However, a full handover with support is available and the most important thing for us is to find the right person for our school.
You would be based in Lowick but will work for both schools. Lowick C of E First School and Holy Island C of E First School are federated and are very small village schools who are embedded within their communities. As church schools, we have a strong Christian ethos which all staff contribute towards. Our school philosophy is underpinned by the importance of ‘Journeying Together’ based on the text ‘encouraged in heart and united in love’ (Col 2). We therefore seek a real team player who is willing to get involved in school life in a positive way.
Mon – Fri 8.30 - 3pm with a half hour lunch break
Initial interviews will be conducted virtually with a face to face follow up before appointing.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced criminal records check is required for this post.
Further information about the school can be found on our website. We welcome any enquiries in the meantime – the best people to speak to would be Linda in the office or Rebecca (the Headteacher).
Applications should be returned to Lowick C of E First School by midday on Wednesday 10th March 2020. Application forms can be handed, or posted, into the main school office or emailed to
