The Service
NCC operates 5 children’s homes including a national secure children home with education. Overall the service employs 130 care staff and 30 support services staff across the 5 sites. Our Homes accommodate 25 young people aged 6 - 17, our main aim is to offer an exceptional family focussed caring environment where children and young people can feel safe and excelled in their abilities and futures.
The service is regularly inspected by Ofsted, currently our homes are rated as Outstanding or Good with outstanding leadership and management. It is crucial that everyone in our team is committed to the best safe care of our young people.
We have the opportunity for experienced individuals to undertake the role of Night Care Officer working for a service within Northumberland.
The service is a bespoke support package for a young person with additional needs. These needs include being visual and auditory impaired.
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team.
Having experience of working with disabled young people would be an advantage as would having the experience of using British Sign Language.
Training will be provided to those individuals who are successful in obtaining a post.

A starting salary from £19312 (salary quoted is full time equivalent).

There is a further payment for Single Premium Rate for unsociable working hours including weekends.
