Further information
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and driven individual to help shape the future of adult education and employability/skills development for the North of Tyne.
The North of Tyne Combined Authority is a ground-breaking organisation, allowing the transfer of unprecedented new powers from the Government to the North of Tyne. With a devolved Adult Education Budget for the North of Tyne to be prioritised and allocated across approved providers to ensure that we develop individuals with the right skills and knowledge to meet the employment needs of the area for now and the future.
We are looking for an outstanding individual to shape, develop and implement contractual negotiations in relation to the adult education provision and manage relationships with the providers to support the employability/skills strategies, vision and priorities locally, nationally and internationally.
The role is suitable for those with knowledge of Adult/Further Education sector, strategies and programmes. The postholder should also have experience of working within a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
