An exciting opportunity has arisen to cover maternity leave for a 15 month period for the Registered Manager of our 6 bed Short Break Service at our Children's Home in Killingworth. The service provides respite support to children/young people who have a learning or physical disability with additional, often complex needs.

You will be responsible for leading a small dedicated team which provides high quality care for all children accessing the service and leading and managing the home in a way that delivers the ethos, outcomes and approach set out in the home’s Statement of Purpose and Foundation’s Values. You will encourage the culture of high aspiration for children which is demonstrated through the care, resources and opportunities offered to them.

The Registered Manager will be expected to build on the strong working relationships between the staff of the home and professionals from the Placing Authorities.

If you feel you have the relevant experience and hold the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent we would like to hear from you.
