As first point of contact within the Leisure Centre you will be responsible for providing a friendly, effective and efficient customer service at the Consett Leisure Centre Reception, welcoming visitors in person and on the telephone.

Duties will also include operation of the telephone system, booking of services on computer system, customer interaction, dealing with payments for services and administering the sale of sports equipment.

Previous experience in a customer facing environment is required.

Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.

Required Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, in a relevant area
