Receptionist
5 days a week (37 hours) term time only/Full Time
Salary :– Grade 1 point 3 £18,065 pro rata
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.45a.m. – 3.45p.m. Friday 7.45a.m. – 3.15p.m.

We are seeking a full time Receptionist to join our Administration team. As a Receptionist, it will be your responsibility to coordinate communications between incoming calls, school visitors, staff and students, ensuring an efficient and organised front-line service. You will be required to undertake general reception duties including processing mail, signing in visitors and issuing security passes. Additional ad hoc admin duties will be required.

Previous experience working with SIMS software is required for this role.
The successful candidate will:
• Ensure that services appropriate to the post during the school sessions are of the highest quality.
• Ensure an efficient flow of work and that deadlines are met.
• Undertake appropriate training, commensurate to the responsibilities of the grade, including in ICT.
• Covering the main school reception
• Meeting, greeting and dealing with visitors to the school
• Assisting with students’ queries
General administration duties
Candidates should have:

• A minimum of 4 GCSE’s or equivalent (Grades A – C including English and
Mathematics)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as a team
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work flexibly and without close supervision
• Be computer literate together with a high regard for confidentiality
