North Tyneside Council’s Telecare and Crisis Response Team are offering an exciting opportunity for someone to become part of their team as a full-time apprentice. The successful post holders will work as part of this front-line service and be part of the Telecare and Crisis Response Team to deliver digital telecare solutions to the residents of North Tyneside.

The role will also include being part of the call handling team that receives emergency activations from people in time of need and also be part of the response team who attend those who require support.

As part of this apprenticeship, you will be supported by your team leaders and manager to undertake and complete a qualification in Customer Service and The Care Certificate. The Care Certificate covers the learning outcomes, competences and standards of behaviour that must be expected of support workers in the health and social care sectors. It aims to make sure that you are caring, compassionate and provide quality customer care in your work.

This apprenticeship is for 18 months.
