North Tyneside Council Adult Learning Service currently employs Tutors to deliver learning across a range of Adult and Community Learning courses and venues across the Borough.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative individual to join our team, specifically to teach and assess adult learners and apprentices enrolled on our Early Years Educator programmes.

The successful candidate will be well-motivated, qualified and have extensive experience of assessing vocational qualifications. The successful candidate must have vocational experience assessing in the Early Years sector. It is also desirable for the successful applicant to have knowledge and/or experience of assessing apprenticeships, including knowledge of end point assessments.

You should be educated to at least NVQ level 3 or equivalent in the above subject and hold an appropriate adult teaching or lifelong learning qualification or hold qualified teacher status (QTLS/QTS).

The appointment offers a number of opportunities to play a key role in driving forward the quality and expansion of our adult learning provision, as well as the offer to develop programmes for local partnerships and employers, working alongside a highly successful team.
