Post title: Rapid Response Worker – full time – permanent (1 post available)

Job Location: 23 The Green, Nettlesworth, however you may be required to work at any DCC council office.

Durham County Council are seeking to recruit a Rapid Response Worker, to work as part of an exciting new integrated team in partnership with CAHMS and Rollercoaster Parent Support to offer support to young people who are at risk of being admitted into hospital due to mental health issues.

This new service will provide an intensive support package of interventions tailored to the young person and their families/carers. You will need to be flexible, enthusiastic, and compassionate and have experience of working with young people. Excellent engagement skills and a good understanding of young people and mental health.

The service has been co-produced with young people and parents/carers who will also be part of the shortlisting and interview panel process.

Required qualifications: Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent
