We are looking to engage a Quality, Performance and Achievement Manager to support appropriate quality assurance arrangements and implement continuous development, delivery and evaluation of the Service’s systems and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and appropriately skilled and experienced person to join our successful Learning and Skills Service in a Management role.

This is a permanent role, subject to an appropriate probationary period.

The Service funds accredited and non-accredited Adult & Community Learning, which is delivered entirely by subcontracted learning providers. We also deliver Apprenticeship Standards in Health and Social Care via our own Assessment Centre.

The purpose of the Quality, Performance and Achievement Manager role is to be responsible managing and monitoring all aspects of contract performance, including subcontractor performance and the performance of the Council’s own assessment centre.
Be the Designated Safeguarding Lead and ensure that all requirements around Safeguarding and Prevent are fulfilled.

Manage a team of Engagement Officers, Quality Monitoring Officer, Data and Funding Officer, Contract Assistant and Health and Social Care Trainer/Assessors

Key responsibilities include, providing leadership and management in all aspects of the Service, developing and implementing strategic policies and having responsibility for all contracts and activities including performance management, budget management, procurement and human resources.

This post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
