Working for the City Council in Newcastle isn’t like any other job. Everything we do has an impact on the people that live in our City so our commitment, diligence and energy have to be second to none.

Combining curiosity with data and analysis, we use data to support decision making and inform service design and delivery. This post is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and highly regarded Informatics & Insights team working to support the Public Health agenda and the city response to Covid-19.

As a Performance Analyst, you will carry out analysis to support the development of key documents including needs assessments, health impact assessments and the Newcastle Future Needs Assessment. You will also ensure that accurate and meaningful management information is provided to support public health programmes.

It is essential that you have excellent analytical skills and are able to apply innovative and creative thinking to find effective solutions. You will also have the ability to work with a wide range of people, presenting data in an engaging way.

This is the chance to join an innovative team with the opportunity to help shape the future of services in Newcastle.

Interviews will be held virtually in the week commencing 2 November 2020.
