30-35 hours a month

Shadforth Parish Council seeks a highly motivated, enthusiastic and organised person to take on the roles of Clerk to the Council and Responsible Financial Officer. This is a part-time, permanent post and the post holder will work 30 -35 hours a month mainly from home, or at location. More information to be provided at interview. They will also be expected to service meetings of the Parish Council and Standing Committees. In addition to the annual salary is an allowance for telephone calls, mileage and internet. A laptop will be provided, together with a printer if necessary.

The Parish Council encompasses the villages of Sherburn Hill, Shadforth and Ludworth. It is responsible for Parish Paths, an Allotments site, a cemetery and a skate park.

Previous local government experience is desirable.
