As Media Relations Executive you will be a key part of the City Council’s communications team, supporting in the development and delivery of communications campaigns which showcase work across the council to provide vital services to residents and business.

You will work within the wider communications team and alongside colleagues in other teams across the council, businesses, partners and suppliers such as design agencies and PR consultancies to protect and enhance the Council’s reputation with the media and key stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with good understanding of the media, communications and marketing landscape, particularly in terms of digital channels and content. The successful candidate should be an organised individual with the ability to meet deadlines and work across different projects at any one time.

Ideally you will be a creative thinker keen to work across a large and dynamic organisation as it aims to deliver an ambitious City Plan and grow its reputation.
