Due to expansion we are currently recruiting a part to full time Maths Teacher to deliver innovative teaching to pupils in KS3 and KS4. We welcome applications from candidates who have teaching experience with pupils with Special Educational Needs.

Salary Range: (Dependent on experience)

Permanent

• Part time/Full time
• Monday to Thursday (hours to be confirmed)

Suitable candidates will need to have at least 2+ years’ experience teaching children who have special and/or additional needs and a teaching qualification - QTS or equivalent.

Purpose of job:

To work as part of a committed, enthusiastic and happy team focused on teaching the pupils at Haskel School.

Requirements:-

Essential

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Experience of working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Be able to deliver high quality and engaging lessons for variety of needs
• Have relevant experience in delivering Maths to pupils working from Functional level to GCSE level.
• Knowledge of Assessment and Tracking procedeures
• Ability to contribute towards EHCP paperwork
• Have good skills in classroom management
• Committed to raising standards
• Willing to take on additional duties as required
• Able to form positive relationships with students and colleagues

Desirable

• Ability to teach additional subjects
• Knowledge of KS2 National Curriculum in Maths.
• Team Teach training
