Sunningdale is an ‘outstanding’ specialist school for pupils aged 2-11 with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex needs.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Teaching Assistant to support children across the school during the lunchtime period.

Applicants should be committed, caring, energetic, flexible and preferably have experience of working with children with a special educational need.

The successful candidate should have a qualification (at least Level 2) and will be required to work as part of a team led by the Senior Lunchtime Teaching Assistant in supporting the personal/social and learning needs of pupils and be patient and flexible in dealing with individual behaviour needs.

Main duties:
Support pupils within the dining hall, play areas and classrooms in conjunction with class staff.
Support the feeding, changing, personal and social needs of the pupils.
Support the learning needs of each individual child.
Support the aims of the school and work in line with all school policies.
