The Salary: SCP4, point 13 at £9.55 per hour
Temporary Term Time Contract – hours are 12.00 noon – 1.00pm Monday – Friday

We currently have a vacancy for a temporary lunchtime supervisor within the school. The post if for a fixed term from January to July 2020 in the first instance and is subject to Nursery funding.

Many people find the hours of 12.00 noon – 1.00pm (each day) ideal - as it leaves the rest of the day free to deal with the many other things they have to do. We would love you to personally consider the role or encourage others you may feel would be suitable for this post.

We are looking for:
- A person who values children as individuals
- Someone who will uphold the values and systems of the school
- A person to assist the children with their lunchtime routines and play
- Someone to help develop the children’s social skills during the lunch period.

We can offer you:
- a strong supportive team
- professional development opportunities
- a supportive induction to the role
- wonderful children with high standards of behaviour

Application forms and job descriptions are attached in the Supporting Documents and must be returned by noon on Thursday 21st November 2019. Visits from prospective applicants are very welcome. Please contact Susan Cassidy (School Business Manager) for application packs and information on 0191 4157214 or susan.cassidy@springwellvillage.org.uk

The post is to commence January 2020 once all checks have been carried out.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Springwell Village Primary School safeguards and protects its students and staff by being committed to respond in accordance with Sunderland Local Safeguarding Board procedures.
