Are you ready for a new challenge? We are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified Industry Specialist who can join our Business Engagement Team. The role will support and lead on various tasks and will have the ability to:-

• Act as a Lead Officer for business investment projects, handholding new manufacturing businesses to relocate to the borough and support their needs advising on business space, supply chains, recruitment and training.

• Engage with established manufacturing businesses across the borough and support them to look at their processes to improve productivity to enable their business to grow.

• Develop and deliver business support initiatives targeting the manufacturing sector of the borough.

• Provide quality business, skills and investment advice and support or signpost as necessary including:


• provision of advice and assistance to businesses in conjunction with other support agencies.

• manage and co-ordinate responses to all aspect of skills, business and investment enquiries.

• Promote development, investment, business, and skills opportunities for citizens throughout the Borough.
