ICT Services are seeking to appoint a skilled developer to join the busy Applications Team within ICT Services.

The successful applicant will have a key role to play in the development, maintenance and support of ICT Enterprise class and Line of Business applications in order to meet the Council’s business and transformational needs.

The role will act as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) within ICT Services supporting the Councils Applications portfolio and providing technical expertise in the development of digital, mobile and web based solutions.

As well as responsibility for the design, development, testing and implementation of any new bespoke solutions, including making changes to current applications, you will support business systems packages and resolve 3rd line incidents.

You will have current and proven experience in application support, systems integration, analysis & design, web development, testing and programming techniques.

As a consequence, you will have significant skills and experience in various software and applications, for example expertise in some of the following: MS SQL, SSRS, Oracle, MS Biztalk, HTML/JS/CSS , XML, Java Script & jQuery, Web Services, WCF, C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET and forms design tools would be desirable.
