Newcastle Private Rented Service provides a wide range of support services to private landlords and tenants including housing advice, advertising properties and guidance on standards with the aim of improving the sector and managing tenancies to a good standard.

An opportunity is available within the Fairer Housing Unit overseeing the allocation of work and providing high level support, advice to a front-line service team. The successful candidate will have a track record of delivering front line housing management services and have knowledge of current housing policies, legislation, issues and challenges, ideally those relevant to the Private Rented Sector but not essential. The role is responsible for overseeing delivery of the landlords training and development programme which has recently been reviewed.

You should be able to work in a busy environment and manage a high volume of case work and be confident in delivering training.
