You must have experience of gas policies and procedures, as well as knowledge of a variety of gas appliances. You will also need a good working knowledge of health and safety (regulations and codes of practice for the working environment) to ensure that you and others are working within a safe environment.

Flexibility and willingness to carry out gas activities when required across other areas of the business is essential, as is the need to hold a current (full) driving licence in order to drive company vehicles, or have the ability to meet the travel requirements of the post.

You must have a NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) recognised City and Guilds craft certificate (Gas) or:

• Level 3 (NVQ) in Domestic Natural Gas Installation and Maintenance (ACS aligned)
• Level 3 Diploma in Gas Utilisation (Matters of Gas Safety Aligned)
• Level 3 (NVQ) Diploma in Domestic Plumbing and Heating (Gas Fired Water and Central Heating Appliances)

You will hold a current ACS accreditation in CCN1 and elements including CENWAT & CPA1.
You must also hold, or be prepared to undertake, training to attain CKR1, HTR1, MET1, CMDDA1.

Where possible interviews will be facilitated via Microsoft Teams. Candidates selected for interview will be contacted to confirm the interview process.
