Early Help Services in Redcar and Cleveland work in partnership with parents and other agencies to deliver high quality services to improve outcomes for all children and their families. The following post offers an exciting opportunity for dynamic individuals to join our integrated team to support families to access the services they need.

We are looking for an Early Help Support Worker to work as part of a Family Hub Team. The post holder is an integral member of Redcar & Cleveland Early Help team and will identify needs and provide planned support for families with young children to ensure that all children in Redcar & Cleveland achieve their optimum health and development potential and are school ready. The post holder will deliver both universal and targeted services through a range of methods including home visiting, evidence-based programmes, and group sessions.

We require the post holder to have experience working with families with young children, mainly 0-5 years, good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. They will also have some experience in assessing needs; and planning and delivering packages of family support. Experience in completing early help assessments would be useful but this is not essential.

They will hold a minimum of an NVQ level 3 in Early Years Educator, Childcare or Children and Young People’s Workforce, or an equivalent qualification.
