Domestic Support
Part-time 20hrs

Job Location: Spennymoor Pathways


We are looking to appoint a Domestic Support, 20 hours to join the Pathways team located within Spennymoor Leisure Centre.

You will be required to prepare and present food in the best possible manner, maintaining excellent hygiene standards, as required, and to ensure high standards of cleanliness within the establishment.

You must possess or be willing to achieve Basic Food Hygiene certificate. Experience of using cleaning equipment and materials is required.

It is anticipated that interviews will be held week commencing 25/10/2021.

Interviews will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams. If you are successful at shortlisting, you will be notified via North East Jobs of the date and time of your interview. A separate invite will be sent via Microsoft Teams.

**Covid-19 Vaccination
This role falls within the scope of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) (Coronavirus) Regulations 2021. These Regulations require you to demonstrate that you have received a complete course of your Covid-19 vaccination, unless exemptions apply. A complete course may refer to one or two doses of the vaccine, depending on the type of vaccine. It does not cover booster doses. Extending the policy to cover booster doses would require amending the regulations and be subject to parliamentary approval.

If you are successful and before taking up the role you will be required to provide evidence of this as part of your pre-employment checks.

The appointment for this post will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced level check.
