Departmental Support Assistant
This is a permanent post commence as soon as possible
Part-time 35 hours over 5 days per week
Term time only plus 5 training days

Our school is one of six primary and secondary schools within the NEAT Academy Trust family of schools. At the heart of our trust is the aim to nurture, educate, achieve and transform the lives of all young people within the communities we serve across the North East. We have a national research school, which aims to build and strengthen networks of schools throughout the region and help them access effective education research and implement it in everyday practice.

An exciting opportunity have arisen for a confident and knowledgeable individual to join our professional and highly skilled team. We are keen to employ an enthusiastic Support Assistant who has ideally studied A Level English, or equivalent knowledge/qualifications to provide classroom support duties, for individuals, small groups of pupils in close collaboration with other school staff and supporting professionals. The successful candidate must have relevant experience of working with young people within secondary education or be able to offer evidence of ability to succeed in this role.
