• Outreach Team - Schools
• SSC - Student Support Service

We are located in Shiremoor and provide a highly successful education for pupils aged 11 to 16 years old.

‘Build Bridge’s to Success’ - all bridges are built on strong foundations and these are –

• Encouragement and Enjoyment of Education and Training

Our pupils need staff who will create a calm and purposeful environment, are highly motivated, and nurturing.

Pupils at Moorbridge have extreme behavioural, social and emotional needs which may prevent their attendance at a mainstream school.

We are looking to recruit Pastoral and Learning Support workers to support students both within and outside the classroom either within a teaching group or on a 1:1 basis. It is highly desirable, but not essential, that you have experience of working with students with SEMH and associated complex learning difficulties, which includes challenging behaviour.

The school is extremely well supported in its continual drive for excellence through its Management Committee, Links with Local Schools and North Tyneside Local Authority.

The school is committed to CPD across its staff teams.

This post is full time, term time only over 195 days, fixed term until 30th June 2022.

Prospective candidates are encouraged to contact the Headteacher Karen Croskery on 0191 6436173 or Michael Tate Business Manager on 0191 6436188 for an informal discussion around the role and contract type prior to submitting an application.

Applications and queries should be sent to moorbridge@ntsss.org.uk

Closing Date: Monday 1st March 2021-12 O’clock Mid Day

Interviews will be held in the week beginning 8th March 2021
