We are looking to appoint a Nursery Teacher to cover for 2 terms at this welcoming two form entry first school. Based in Whitley Bay our school serves a community with pupils who come from a variety of different backgrounds, it is a very happy school where pupils thrive and enjoy learning. We have a large nursery with up to 55 children attending on a flexible model. We also have a separate 2 Year old provision ‘Little Pips’. At Appletree Gardens we have high expectations of what our children can achieve and strive to inspire all children to develop a love of learning through our creative curriculum, so that they attain their very best and become confident and successful individuals.

We are looking for a confident EYFS teacher who can provide a stimulating environment both indoors and outside. You will be able to plan, deliver and assess the Early Years curriculum effectively. You will be committed to developing excellent relationships with parents and carers to build strong partnerships in order to support learning. A strong knowledge and understanding of EYFS practice and the ability to work effectively in a team is essential.

The position is open to both newly qualified and experienced teachers.
