The service is focused on supporting people to do things for themselves rather than doing things for them. Which provides the person with opportunity to regain their independence and skills. It is short time limited intervention of intensive activity to promote people’s independence, which involves working into people’s homes supporting and promoting independence.

It involves, goal setting, a personalised approach with involvement from the person and their family. It is a service that builds on what a person can do already and support them to regain skills and build confidence.

These posts are 25 hours per week.

The service works from 7.00am -11.00pm, where staff provide cover on a rota system.
