Further information
Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals who are committed and highly motivated. The post will be part of the Asset Management Team within the Commissioning and Asset Management Service Area of the Council.
The post holder will be responsible to the Operational Manager – Commissioning & Asset Management and will be have a key role in the management and delivery of the asbestos remedial action work programmes and the maintenance of relevant compliance registers, whilst ensuring safe working practices in conjunction with the most recent regulations and guidance.
In addition, the postholder will undertake re-inspections across the Council’s Schools and Public Buildings and will also be expected to undertake audits of contracts to ensure they are competent including inspection licenses, accreditations, training, equipment maintenance records, risk assessments, method statements and plans of work.
