Further information
An important opportunity to work in the largest and busiest of the four Community Wellbeing Teams has arisen. We are looking for someone with the drive and enthusiasm to work in a demanding field of Adult Social Care supported by another full time Lead Practitioner and Team Manager.
Past performance as a progressed social worker and experience of working in a supervisory capacity would be key assets to this post. The ability to work to performance targets and enhance the professional practice of the team are important facets of the role. A strong commitment to personal and professional values and the resilience to support team colleagues would be valuable attributes.
Experience of implementation of the Care Act and the Mental Capacity Act as well as other areas of legislation and statutory guidance will be required in this role as will a working knowledge of the Strengths or Asset based approach to delivering social care.
