The Environment, Housing and Leisure Service currently has a vacancy for a time served Joiner in the Housing Property and Construction team. This important customer facing position helps support the delivery of a wide range of repair, maintenance and construction work for customers with disabilities who require adaptations.

The successful applicant will be motivated, preferably multi-skilled and possess a good understanding of working in a housing repairs service.

If successful, you will be joining a committed team of multi-skilled trades personnel who carry out life changing adaptations in people’s homes

In order to do this role, you will be required to attend homes anywhere in the borough, produce work to a high quality and you will need excellent customer care skills.

You must be able to read drawings and identify all necessary materials to carry out the work.

A driving licence is essential for this post and you will be provided with a van.
