We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual with a great deal of passion and high standards to support the unit manager at Burnside Business and Enterprise College.
You will need to have great cooking skills, be self motivated and will be expected to lead by example by providing excellent levels of customer service, mentoring, motivating and training to both small and large catering teams.
Previous management experience at a similar level is essential. Ideally this will have been gained in a school or college. You must have first class people skills, a proven track record in managing financial performance whilst ensuring that a high standard of kitchen hygiene is maintained and above all you must be able to work under pressure whilst remaining calm and positive.

This post is term time over 190 days. In addition you will be contractually required to be available, should the service require it, to work five call-in days in our Community Meals Kitchen and three cleaning days, both of which occur during school holidays.
