We are looking for dedicated, talented and experienced teachers to join our successful English department, who will ensure our students enjoy and achieve success in all aspects of the subject.

The right candidate will be talented, dynamic and able to communicate their passion for Science to students and create an exciting, inspiring learning experience. They will support the work of the department to ensure that standards in student attainment, teaching and learning and behaviour for learning are consistently improving.

Norham High School is an 11-16 years community school in the North Shields area of North Tyneside. It is a smaller than average secondary school which serves a very local community. The English department is a committed, hardworking team, they work closely together and are determined to raise standards so that our young people achieve the best they possibly can. The school is on a journey of improvement and the successful candidates will be important in supporting that process. The post is not suitable for NQTs.
